450lbs of books

The first set of donated books are officially on the ground in Arusha!  Special thanks to Leigh and her friends/ family for collecting, sorting, packing and transporting all of these books.  It was a huge task!

Leigh brought nine additional pieces of luggage (50lbs each) on the plane from the US.  You know it's a good sign when the travel agent immediately asks, "Traveling with a group today?" and then the airline has to move you to a different flight with a  larger aircraft due to all the extra luggage.  Safely in Arusha, the books are now in the corner of the apartment awaiting the library space renovation
